These are the 2 wheelchairs I use to fly with. Both allow to be stowed in the little luggage comp. behind the seats.

So ... you do NOT have to leave any passenger grounded. He or she is always invited to fly with you.

Küshall Airlite Pro

ProActiv Traveler

The Küshall needs to be dismounted (I have changed 6 standard bolts
by quick dismountable winglet bolts & nuts) if you want to fly with a passenger.

When flying solo in the FK9 I can put the wheelchair on the passenger seat.
In that case I only have to DISMOUNT the foot rest to give way to the
forward/aft.  movement of the flight stick.

Wheels have to be max. size 24" to be able to pass them above the seats'
back into the luggage comp. behind the seats. This is a very LIGHT chair
(made out of carbon, ALU & titanium).

Price: about 4200€ (no cushon incl.)

Weight: 7kg (cushon excl.)

IMPORTANT:  PLEASE FIXATE it verry carefully and CHECK
all FLIGHT controlls remain FREE & CORRECT BEFORE you start.

The traveler needs to be purchased with the quickdismount front wheels and quick dismount foot rest (both optional)
to be usable in flight.

This one is a better choice as NO bolts have to be dismount to fold it. In less then 2 minuts it can be stowed in the FK9's luggage comp. by the pilot himself.

However it has a larger weight then the Küshall
As this wheelchair not only has a folding back but also
a "sissor-folding" box frame more steel was needed to keep it
rigid. That also means extra weight.

Price: about 4000€ (no cushon incl.)

Weight: 12kg (cushon excl.)

IMPORTANT:  PLEASE FIXATE it verry carefully and CHECK all FLIGHT controlls remain FREE & CORRECT BEFORE you start.
